Family of 5 in Baoshan

** UPDATE 31st Oct, 2011:  1 successfully adopted and 2 of the kittens has a potential adopter **

Born on a university campus, this family of five is hoping to find loving homes. The mother brought the 4 kittens to a big bush next to a dorm last week, probably thinking that it was the safest place for them around there. The small ones are around four-weeks old and within a week or two would leave the bushes. People would just start feeding them in a random manner until someone officially started complaining about them to the administration (some have already complained about the kittens’ crying).
The place next to the building is very busy, so it seems best to bring them all to a clinic until someone will be kind enough to take them in. Here they will also receive all the necessary treatments and vaccinations.

Since most of our friends are students in Shanghai and live in dorms, we cannot adopt or foster them.

** Please note that the cas are being taken to the hospital this morning for check up. The mother cat is going to be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and deflead. Depending on the age of the kittens, they will all also be treated **
